Regal Research and Mfg. Co.
Creates New Division
Solorider Golf Carts
August, 2009-Solorider Management, LLC of
Centennial, Colorado has selected Regal Research and Mfg. Co.(www.RegalResearch.com) to manufacture,
sell and support its complete line of golf carts for the disabled.
Under this exclusive agreement, Regal
Research will operate a division named Solorider Golf Carts to perform
all fabrication, assembly, marketing, sales and support services at its
sprawling factory in Plano,
Texas, beginning August 17,
2009.
Solorider golf carts are built to serve
would-be golfers with physical disability who wish they could still play. The Solorider 3400 is the leading golf cart
in this field. It provides golfers a
versatile electric cart built with a nearly universal-tilt swivel seat that
enables a full arc golf swing from the assisted-standing position.
This versatile cart
extends a golfer's capability, enabling seniors and the disabled to achieve
mobility and fulfill their passions to continue a mobile, active, healthy life.
Solorider cars were previously produced
in Denver, Colorado, but the scale and volume of Regal's production capability
is seen as a plus for reasons of production and distribution efficiency.
According to Solorider Management LLC Chairman
Monroe Berkman, Regal Research is a large, well-established manufacturing
company that offers the breadth and depth of resources to make the most of
Solorider's market opportunity. "This
exclusive licensing agreement consolidates the supply chain to offer
streamlined production and a single point for all manufacturing and
service. You can't get more efficient than
that."
Regal Research owner Mike Powell echoes these benefits, adding "Our factory in Plano is the ideal location for centralized assembly, marketing and distribution. The central location of Dallas/Fort Worth and our thorough transportation links provide great access to national and even international markets for Solorider carts, minimizing freight costs and other logistical headaches for dealers, reps and end-users alike."
